Volunteer on the playa: Participate in the Carcass Wash, the High Tea, other camp activities.

Favorite moments:

#1: First year, very goal directed putting up camp which took most of a day. Finally when set up, taking the blinders off and looking around and "Oh My God!" Just trying to fathom it all.

#2: Sharing with virgins (our kids et. al.). Telling all our secrets.

#3: Running into friends from different circles in different camps. Making new friends. Being there in support for each other.

#4: Art!

#5: and that's all the news that's fit to print.

Advise: Actually Beth's son gave us the best advise as virgins: Bring a bike. Never leave home without goggles and dust mask. Piss Clear.

The rest of the year: Jim demonstrates chemical analysis and supports a college chemistry lab program. Jim and Beth keep busy with family, grandson, friends, vegetable gardening, camping, travel, stained glass.

Interests include HAI, Sacred Cnx., plants, nature, Toltec shamanism, Egypt, Art, transformation.

Hope: that the human collective is bright enough to discern and make necessary changes.

Fear: that we're not.

American Dream: The Bill of Rights is a way cool contribution to the human ethos.
