Where do you call home? Silicon Valley, CA

Been to Burning Man before? Nope. Been wanting to go ever since the late 1980's when I first heard about it.

Camped with PolyParadise Before? No; looking forward to it!

Why Burning Man? I've always felt I should be there.
But money, transportation, motherhood, family issues.... etc.

Volunteer on the Playa? I assume so. An old friend (and Burn lifer) had some suggestions; I'll be on the lookout. I assume a lot of my volunteering will be in-camp.

Art Projects? Sort of. But not what I had planned: My abovementioned lifer Burner bud has been very badly injured in an accident, so we won't see her there this year. She loves raw silk, so I have a bolt of it and am going to invite all interested Burners to come make clothes for her out of it, using materials I bring plus whatever they may have to hand.

My Life? Lots of fun and way busy. I'm a Wiccan priestess (Google me--and/or Wicca--if you want to know more), mom of an amazing teenaged artist, and overcommitted. Like my old friend Kennita (q.v. elsewhere in the PolyBurn bio section), I love music and going to SF and music conventions. I also enjoy creative cookery, sewing and embroidery, and reading.  I'm a Latin nerd, so don't ask me about Horace or Vergil or those guys unless you've got some time!
