Years at Burning Man: 2000 to this year
Years at Poly Paradise: 2001-2005, 2007
After retiring at age 55 in June 2006 from the National Education Association, I traveled full-time in the Pacific Northwest in my 27' Winnebago Minnie. Took advantage of a down real estate market and bought a house on Mt. Soledad in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego in November 2007. After putting in a private deck and Jacuzzi in the back I had a blast remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms.
I will bring my infamous cuddle pool to set up in a cozy corner of the common area of Poly Paradise. Magical things can happen through interactions in the (dry) pool filled with blankets and pillows and a couple surprises. You'll know when you find them.
My fav things to do on playa are: see and interact with as many art installations as possible, assist at the Human Carcass Wash, hang out in my Winnie, eat and drink yummy stuff, getting and giving juicy hugs, catch up with old friends and make new ones. And I'm open to being surprised a lot this year.
