Bamboo Family, Playa Tree, Whee-ville, BRCPO, Pleasure Kitten Army

Volunteer?
I spent the summer of 2001 pre-event going out to the work ranch quite frequently.
I have spent hundreds of hours receiving, delivering, and canceling mail (see Black Rock City Post Office) on the playa.

Why Burning Man?
My first Burning Man was really about allowing myself to fully express who I was, in an environment that was celebratory and accepting of that expression. It opened a floodgate of sorts, and some of the most amazing experiences of my life have come out of how my worldview changed. I continue to attend BM for the amazing friends and lovers, art, sense of community, and perspective I have found in this event.

Toughest Thing:
People who refuse to participate in any way shape or form in the event, but show up anyway.

Best Thing:
Sunrise at the trash fence sharing an intimate hug/conversation with cold noses and sleepy eyes.

Burning Man Advise:
Start at least one of your playa adventures with the intent of saying 'yes' to every offer/invitation/suggestion that comes your way.
